How to dress casual but without jeans or tennis shoes?

Hi, I have this talent audition tomorrow and as it says above I must dress casual but without jeans or tennis shoes. I have a really cute skirt just above knee level and the PROBLEM is that 3 days ago I played basketball with my family and I slid and scraped my knee. What should I do? I'd appreciate your answer.

How about capri pants? Hit right below the knee? And you can wear flats or heals with those and it will still be casual.
