What is the theme of the story "The Round Table" & "The Sword In The Stone"?

I need one thematic statement for both.

Ther legend of King Arthur is conflicted in that the round table ensured that nobody sitting at it had privilege of place. (Compare long table with Lord at one end and Lady at the other.) Thus there is a suggestion of equality. But Excalibur (the sword) could only be extracted by the rightful King, which suggests not equality but Divine Right which monarchs rely upon for their entitlements.
